I aim to help you explore, develop, and heal the areas in your life that are causing distress by providing a safe container to work through challenges and be witnessed and accepted in your full humanity.

Clients who work with me can expect a coaching relationship built on respect, curiosity, and compassion. We spend our time together exploring and expanding, digging and digesting, honing and healing, leaning in and letting go. Our structure, cadence, and velocity are always subject to change — what feels supportive one week can feel totally different the next, and we are constantly adjusting to suit your changing needs. I strive to create a dynamic that allows you to leave every session feeling more understood, capable, and hopeful than you felt when you entered.

I draw from various techniques such as somatic experiencing, attachment theory, compassionate inquiry, and internal family systems, but more generally, I take a bottom-up approach to coaching as opposed to a top-down approach. Bottom-up means focusing first on how you feel in your body before creating a narrative around it in your conscious mind, whereas top-down means honing the narrative as a framework for later addressing the felt senses in your body.

I encourage prospective coaching clients to think through what matters most to them in choosing someone to support them on their mental wellness journey. Some people want someone who can listen, reflect, and hold them accountable, making a coach a fitting and affordable option, while others desire a formal diagnosis and treatment plan from a licensed mental health professional, which is outside the wheelhouse of a coach. Many people, myself included, have worked with all different types of professionals with varying credentials and areas of expertise. There is no right answer beyond what feels right to you.

My coaching services are priced using a sliding scale, meaning you are welcome to pay what is in budget for you. Typically clients pay between 40 and 60 dollars per hour, with sessions lasting anywhere from one to two hours each. Our first consultation is always free, and if you leave feeling like a different provider would be a better fit but are unsure of how to find someone, I am always happy to help you find a provider who is more aligned with your goals (free of charge).

It is my greatest joy and privilege to see people transform their lives through the healing power of relationship. It is why I do this work.
